Raw : Snow plunges through hole in the roof at Amsterdam Arena

AVALANCHE! After spending 140m euros on their roofed stadium Amsterdam Arena, Dutch side Ajax might want to consider a partial refund after snow delayed their clash against rivals Feyenoord at the weekend. With Ajax leading 3-0 in the 87th minute, snow started to fall onto spectators and the substitutes bench.

Play was delayed briefly as players watched on in shock before the referee restarted the match to play out the final few minutes. With the victory, Ajax drew level on points with second-placed PSV Eindhoven, despite playing much of the second half with 10 men.

Chelsea 2-1 Arsenal- Benitez relieved with first home win in 2013

Interim Chelsea manager Rafael Benitez believes that his side 'could have taken more more chances' against Arsenal and closed out the match in the first half.

Juan Mata drove in a shot to put the Blues in front, although the visitors had claims for a foul against them in the build-up. Benitez refused to comment on goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny's tackle that brought down Ramires, gifting a Frank Lampard penalty for Chelsea's second.

The 2-1 victory against their London rivals is the first home win for Chelsea in 2013 , which puts them third in the table but still 13 points adrift from the top.

J.J. Abrams Developing Lance Armstrong Biopic

Lance Armstrong just recently came clean about using performance enhancing substances, but it looks like a feature film about the now infamous seven time Tour de Force title "winner" is already in the works. Deadline reports that JJ Abrams' Bad Robot and Paramount Pictures have closed a deal to develop Cycle Of Lies: The Fall Of Lance Armstrong into a feature film.

The book has yet to even be written, but will focus on the rise and fall of Armstrong from longtime Armstrong sports writer Juliet Macur. This isn't the first time Hollywood has tried to turn Armstrong's life into a feature film. Sony Pictures was working with Armstrong on a film that would focus on his ability to overcome obstacles such as cancer to become a champion, but dropped it following his doping scandal.

That film was being made in cooperation with Armstrong and Jake Gyllenhaal attached to star. It's unclear if Sony will now try to resurrect the project and tweak it to include Armstrong's recent admission.

Is Manti Te'o LYING about His Dead Girlfriend?

No one knows whether Notre Dame football stud Manti Te'o is lying about the dead girlfriend hoax or not... but we do know this -- the internet never passes up a good opportunity to make a joke!

Footballer 'victim' in dead girlfriend hoax

American football star Manti Te'o was the victim of a hoax, Notre Dame University claims. It is a story that captivated America: a star college football player leads his team to the national championships, driven by the memory of his 22-year-old girlfriend and her losing battle with leukemia.

Except that the entire tragic tale was a hoax. The girlfriend of Manti Te'o, a linebacker for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team, never existed. The revelation by the sports website Deadspin, has caused shock across a country where college football has almost religious status and is arguably more popular than its professional counterpart, the NFL.

Te'o, 21, who had spoken about his online girlfriend many times in the media, claimed to be shocked too. He said he was a victim of the hoax, and genuinely believed that the girl, Lennay Kekua, was a real person with whom he was in a relationship.

But others have questioned whether Te'o himself was involved in the hoax, perhaps in an attempt to gain sympathy and further his bid for the Heisman Trophy, the football award in which he ultimately finished runner-up.

The story of Te'o's touching relationship with his dying girlfriend first surfaced early last year. Pictures of the girl, from a social media account set up in her name, were published, as were intimate details of their lives.

Lance Armstrong Admits Doping On Oprah - "I View This Situation As One Big Lie"

Oprah Winfrey's long-awaited interview with disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong aired tonight, and right off the bat Armstrong admitted that he was using performance-enhancing drugs for over a decade. He said that he used a number of substances over the years, and Winfrey asked Armstrong why he not only denied the doping charges, but he aggressively, adamantly denied them in news interviews.

Winfrey asked Armstrong directly, "did you ever take banned substances to enhance your cycling performance." He answered "yes." She asked if he could have realistically won the Tour de France seven times without the aid of performance-enhancing drugs. He said it was highly doubtful, explaining that he got hooked in the mid-90s.

Winfrey brought up how Armstrong not only denied doping, but he "brazenly and defiantly denied it." Armstrong admitted he didn't have a good answer for why he lied so adamantly and even called other people liars. He said that "all the fault and all the blame here falls on me" for creating this "big lie" about himself and his "mythic, perfect story."

In the middle of her match against Garbine Muguruza Blanco in the second round, Williams ran across the baseline and tried to return a tough shot. Her racquet came up and caught her in the mouth as she followed through. She stopped briefly to make sure she was okay and quickly resumed play.

Remy snubs Newcastle for QPR

Sought after Marseille striker Loic Remy is set to snub Newcastle United and sign for Queens Park Rangers instead. The 26-year old forward was set to travel to Newcastle to discuss personal terms after a fee of about £8m pounds was agreed.
